How is magnesium alloy produced?

The flammable and explosive characteristics of magnesium alloys make the melting and casting of magnesium alloys very dangerous. Magnesium alloy manufacturers need to pay special attention when casting production. Here is a brief introduction to the production process of magnesium alloys, so that everyone can better understand magnesium alloys. And use it:
1. Preheat the crucible to dark red, add a certain amount of bottom flux block to melt, use a colander to spread the flux evenly to the bottom layer of the pot, add magnesium ingot-aluminum-alloy, and close the lid to melt.
2. When the temperature reaches 700-720℃, add zinc with a colander and stir well.
3. Add 0.20.5% magnesite lump, until it is fully dissolved, close the lid to melt, and stir thoroughly to remove the surface slag.
4. The alloy refining is carried out at 720-740℃, and the refining agent is used for repeated refining until the alloy liquid becomes a mirror surface.
5. Add calcium after refining and keep it for 20-40 minutes after stirring.
6. Analyze the alloy composition. After passing the test, the temperature will drop to 680-700℃, and it will be out of the furnace. Use air pressure or pump pressure to introduce a continuous or semi-continuous casting machine to cast into billets.
7. The billet is peeled and homogenized.
8. Heated, extruded or rolled into plates.
9. Carry out finishing treatment to the required specifications
